Supporting cancer recovery with food and nutrients*
Supporting cancer recovery, whether you are receiving conventional therapy or not, starts with a cancer fighting diet! Below is a list of goals and strategies for our work with cancer patients. Before you embark on a cancer-fighting diet, make sure you are aware of the T-T-T cancer "Top 10 enemies" list!
Top 10 Enemies list
- Sugar–including most fruit juices
- Non-organic foods
- All processed foods
- Transfats and Omega 6 fatty acids
- All food additives, especially MSG, aspartame, artificial colors and flavors
- Conventionally raised beef and other meats
- Charbroiled and processed meats
- Tap water
- Teflon cookware
- Excessive iron and copper in food and/or supplements
All promote inflammation, over-acidify the body, and add to your toxic burden, helping cancer to grow and spread!
